Easter Message from ECC Presiding Bishop Paul Burson
Dear Beloved of God, in this Easter message I would like to invite you to walk with me on the path the Spirit has been teaching, guiding and transforming me/us through the last 40 days. And as we celebrate Easter this year, where will we meet the Risen Christ? As with Mary of Magdala, I pray that, in the vulnerability of our tears, we will come to experience anew the Risen Christ Jesus, who will call us by our name. I pray that, in our communities gathered in prayer and, in our service with and for the marginalized, we will encounter the Risen One. Read more.

ECC Communities in Action: Service and Ministry Outreach Series
Our Presiding Bishop Paul Burson writes: In preparing for Synod 2024, I asked this question of our Ecumenical Catholic Communion communities: What type of social engagement, service and ministry outreach is your ECC Community involved in within your area? As I shared in my State of Communion presentation on Friday evening of Synod, my heart was very moved and encouraged to learn about all the ways our Communities are reaching out to others. A special display was created in the Chapel (which was located in the lower level of Longs Peak Lodge) so everyone could read, learn and get ideas from each other over the days we were gathered. It is…

ECC Stance on Immigration
It is Lent, a time of repentance, fasting and reflection. All of us are witnessing in America today unprecedented attacks on immigrants, refugees and people of color through the blatant disregard of the rule of law. Accusations of illegal activity have been directed at Protestant, Catholic and Jewish organizations who, here and abroad, are living out…

Rocky Mountain Region elects local bishop
With great joy, the people of the Rocky Mountain Region of the Ecumenical Catholic Communion (ECC) elected Mother Kae Madden. Currently, there are 5 communities along Colorado’s Front Range: the Church of the Holy Family ECC in Aurora; Church of the Beloved ECC in Northglenn (where Bishop-elect Kae serves as pastor); Light of Christ ECC in Longmont; Mary of Magdala ECC in Fort Collins, and St. Paul…
